We’re A Company With Heritage
From Woolston Printing to Dumont Industries...
Woolston Printing has been a long-standing printing business in Northern Tasmania for 100 years now. Established in 1925 as G.W. Woolston and Son, High-Class Printers, in the garage of G.W. Woolston’s home, the business has grown and evolved over the years, but has always remained in the Woolston family. The business is currently operated by Jim Woolston, the founder’s great grandson, while various other members of the Woolston family work within it.
The capabilities of the business have evolved to meet demanding needs recently and with the evolution of products and services over the years, not only offering the singular notion of ‘printing’, the time has come for a new brand and name change.
The origins of this name come from ‘du’ meaning two in Latin, and ‘mont’ meaning mountain in French. ‘Two mountains’ can represent the two main services offered (print and packaging), as well as the natural environment that the business has originated from (Tasmania).
Today Dumont Industries' services have increased state wide and interstate. We are now headquartered in a modern 1650sqm purpose-built print facility located by Launceston Airport in Tasmania. Currently exporting in excess of 40% of our printed products we have print hubs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We have made continual investment in upgraded machinery, giving us the edge on large run printing, binding and embellishing services.

The digital age? Yes, we are at the forefront with equipment being continually upgraded to meet the demands of our markets. We have had both digital and offset capabilities for some time, and have expanded into hybrid machines and include wide format printing as a service.
